A girl named Marina Sergeevna Sidorova, i met from dating site has been writing letters to me for few months now. She says she loves me and all she thinks about. And she is so wantinging to be with me. She emails me almost the same time everyday, she says its from a coffee shop, and its only form of communicating? She says she sold her camera and her room for $1000 to get visa, passport and ticket. She said its $1700 all together. She said she sold her room for $1000, and had to ask friends also for money. She said she is upset she could not get enough, and hopes i send her the rest $450. Tells me i will need to send to 35 Oktyabrskayast St,Nizhny Novgorod,Russia 603005, as money gram. Do you think this is true, or a scam? I attached a picture below, she sent others but i dont have. I really need to find out if she is true, or real person. I am in love with her just from all her letters, and im scared to be scammed. Every day she says how much i mean to her, and wants to be with me, and she is so upset, that we are distant. Please help. Thanks Lane

Don't fall for it. If they ask for money it's ALWAYS a scam. I have a 'Marina' with the same email address writing to me as well. I'm just playing with her to see how far she will go, but clearly a scammer. Probably some fat guy in his mom's basement.

Well, I guess I know now that my Marina Sergeevna Sidirova is a scammer. I gave her $4,150. She had so many problems at the airport. She said she got in trouble smuggling an icon as she called it and had to go to court. She was fined and that cost me $650. She always starts her gmails with 'Hello my love'. She supposedly came from Nizhny, Novgorod a small village. She supposedly took a 7 hour bus ride to Moscow and that's where she has supposedly been for 7 months now. I've been talking to her for 8 months and she is still writing me gmails. When I don't write her she says 'Why do not you write me' She loves to put exclamation points after every other sentence. She's only gotten upset with me a few times because I wouldn't write her for a few days. I fell in love too. Are all scammers this good at it? I wish I could sit back and wait for the money to roll in from scamming people but I'm not a thief. All I want is a girl. How are some guys so freakin' lucky with the girls? She sent lots of pictures in the beginning (of a very pretty girl) and then said she sold her camera and room for the plane ticket and visa. She said she was a school teacher in her small village but I have yet to get intelligent conversation out of her. That's what I've been telling her for about two months. I asked her to tell me 'I love you' in Russian and she said it would be in Russian and I wouldn't be able to read it. I looked online how to say it 'Ya tebya loo bloo'. She said 'I like your inscription'. I haven't given her money in 3 months. Mostly because I don't have it. She said plane tickets went up because of Soccer World Championships. That was over what? Over 2 months ago? She claims the tickets never went down and still needs $440. I am writing this letter on 10/6/2018. I'm glad I found your website. I won't be giving Marina Sergeevna Sidirova any more money. What I don't get is how is she picking up the money at moneygram without a picture id?

Sorry you were scammed!
You probably never talked with the girl in the pictures as most all scammers are men.
It's not so difficult to pick up money from Western Union or MoneyGram as you might think.
Example: The scammer has a friend working at the MoneyGram pick up point and he offers them a percentage of the money.

Please come back and post all pictures and any letters, letter asking for money would be great.
